The event was a success and saw over 1,600 visitors (compared to 1,300 in 2011).

Join us in celebrating a variety of sites of heritage, cultural and community interest. Visitors are invited to explore our cultural treasures and community landmarks that add to the character of our fine community.
Doors Open Huronia offers the public a rare opportunity to explore sites of interest, many of which are not normally open to the public. Participants are able to tour buildings, take guided tours, and view special exhibits and displays– all for free!
On the weekend of June 2nd and 3rd, 2012, the Towns of Midland and Penetanguishene will jointly host Doors Open Huronia 2012.
